Under the motto 'T-LA at Home', the Alternative Leisure Time Program of the Department of Youth has organized a wide range of activities to encourage young people to practice healthy leisure from home, during the period of confinement decreed by the Alarm State to contain the advance of the coronavirus.
From Thursday to Sunday, T-LA will present a set of activities open to all youth and the general public through its Social Networks.
There will be talks on astronomy, fitness, Latin dances, online tournaments, cooking, board games, music, poetry and young art among others.
The Councilor for Youth, David Martínez Noguera, thanked the involvement of the groups and entities that are part of the group promoting this program, as well as the participation of individuals, since "it has been essential for the realization of this initiative."
The 'T-LA at Home' is also open to citizen participation, with interested people being able to send their online activity proposal to the email address: ResourcesJuveniles@ayto-cartagena.es
"I encourage all the young people who are in their homes and who are sure to be very creative to join this initiative and show us everything we can do from our homes," said the councilor.
To these activities will be added the different personalized comprehensive care spaces of the Youth Space of the Department of Youth that, from 9:00 to 14:00 and by email spacejoven@ayto-cartagena.es, will advise young people in education, employment, housing, languages, health and gender, legal issues, or the European Solidarity Corps, among others.
On the other hand, the spring T-LA scheduled for the months of April, May and June is postponed until normality is restored.
