The Cartagena City Council already has everything ready so that in the next few days the different Government and spokesperson boards, as well as the commissions and the planned plenary session can be held electronically.
The Data Processing Center (CPD) has prepared a platform hosted on the City Council's servers that facilitates the remote development of these meetings.
It has also prepared a manual and a protocol for action.
“We have resolved any technical problems that may arise.
In fact, tests have already been done with the spokespersons of the municipal groups and the mayor to verify that the system works.
In addition, an action protocol has been developed to avoid issues as simple as the one that everyone talks at the same time, since face-to-face debates are not the same as telematics ", highlighted the Councilor for Electronic Administration, Alejandra Gutiérrez.
The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, proposed the possibility of holding all the sessions electronically to the spokespersons of the municipal groups last week and all of them approved it.
In addition, the plenary secretariat requested a report from the CARM General Directorate of Public Administration, which has approved the initiative.
This measure is part of the decision of the Government team to comply with all the recommendations of the health authorities in the COVID-19 crisis.
