After the stoppage of all the face-to-face activities that the Department of Culture of the City Council of Cartagena had programmed for the coronavirus, and to make home confinement more enjoyable due to the state of alarm, the Department itself launched the 'Classics at home' cycle last week 'in which young artists from the city, have been making small live performances through the Facebook of the department.
Due to the success achieved, this proposal is extended.
Francisco José Franco (saxophone), Marina Saura (violin), José Antonio Aarnoutse (guitar), Ana Ros (flute) and Miguel Ángel Ros (cello) will perform in this new series of concerts.
The performances will begin this Wednesday, March 25, in the order mentioned, and will last until Sunday, March 29.
Francisco José Franco, trained at the Superior Conservatory of Music in Murcia, is completing a Master in Performative Research in the Contemporary Music branch at the Superior Conservatory of Music "Óscar Esplá" in Alicante.
He has collaborated with the Cartagena Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Cartagena Symphony Orchestra, the UCAM Symphony Orchestra and the Orihuela City Orchestra.

José Antonio Aarnoutse is a professor of flamenco guitar at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Cartagena and has a broad musical training (both higher degrees in flamenco guitar and classical guitar).
It will offer a varied concert where flamenco guitar themes that appear on his album "El arte del Encuentro", awarded as Best flamenco album at the Murcia Music Awards in 2018, and themes from the repertoire of classical guitar will be performed.
Ana Ros, member of the JOSCT, the Orchestra of the University of Almería and the JOUMH of Elche.
