The incessant rain that fell during the last night in the municipality of Cartagena has caused the cutting of various roads and access roads as a consequence of the waterlogging of the road.
The precipitations, that around six in the morning, had reached 60 liters per square meter, have led the Local Police to interrupt the passage of vehicles for security in;
Siphon Highway, between Las Tejeras and Polígono de Santa
Los Dolores road to Marfagones mills, at the height of the Rambla de Benipila
Calle Peroniño in the Barrio de la Concepción.

La Mina wagon and at the exit of the town at the soccer field
La Aljorra: at the height of Antonio Pascual street
Los Belones: at the height of Campo Verde and the Huevos Mendoza factory

Although traffic is reduced in these areas by the domestic confinement measures decreed by the coronavirus crisis, citizens are advised to be very careful and never try to cross flooded stretches.
In the houses, neighbors are recommended to check the downspouts and drains.
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has activated in the early hours of this morning and until three in the afternoon orange warning, with forecasts that it will reach 100 liters per square meter in 12 hours and strong gusts of wind on the coast , between strength 7 and 8, with waves four meters high, so it is also advisable to remove elements from the facades that may be carried by the wind.
FIRE FIGHTING INCIDENTS
At around 3:30 this morning, the Firefighters of the Fire Extinguishing, Rescue and Civil Protection Service of the City of Cartagena have had to rescue two people in Algameca Chica due to the level rise in the Rambla de Benipila, Los Municipal officers helped the neighbors to get out with their car.
Also around seven this morning there has been a landslide on the side of Cerro de la Concepción, on Gisbert Street, without consequences.
Finally they have moved to the old national 301 at the height with the crossing of Las Lomas de El Albujón where together with personnel from the municipal brigades they are removing a pine tree that has fallen on the road, due to the wind.
