The municipal social services completed between Friday and Saturday the device for locating and welcoming homeless people in the municipality, who were transferred to the Coto Dorda residential center and the Los Habaneros hotel, according to the Deputy Mayor.

The response to the "homeless" during the health crisis has been organized together with Cáritas and La Huertecica, who regularly work with homeless people.
La Huertecica is also a specialist in assisting people with drug addictions, which are numerous among people on the street.
In total there are 50 homeless people distributed between the residence ceded by the bishopric and attended by Cáritas in Coto Dorda, and the Los Habaneros hotel, where La Huertecica collaborates.
Social workers toured Cartagena during the Friday afternoon and night, along with Civil Protection volunteers, to locate the last people on the street to refer them to those two resources that provide them with accommodation and access to hygiene and food.
The City Council has enabled a security service at both locations and this device will be maintained for the duration of the health crisis.
