The mayor, Ana Belen Castejón, has called an extraordinary meeting of spokespersons for tomorrow, Friday, March 20, with the aim of informing all political groups of the videoconference that she will hold in the morning with the president of the Autonomous Community and with the Minister of Health.
At this meeting, he will also inform them of the requests he has made to the Government delegate, José Vélez, who has requested that the old Naval Hospital be opened to accommodate passers-by and homeless people from the municipality, as well as the help of the army during the humanitarian crisis caused by the coronavirus.
During the meeting, the mayor will also inform them about the reformulation of the Municipal Budget Project for 2020 with the aim that the City Council has all the necessary means to face the social and economic needs caused by the health crisis.
The meeting will be held at the Town Hall, as usual, although for security reasons it has been requested that only one member per political group attend.
