The local artists of Cartagena will act in streaming in the cycle Classics at home, organized by the Department of Culture of the City Council, to entertain and liven up the time of house confinement as a consequence of the State of Alarm by COVID-19, when all the On-site activities that had been scheduled.

The concerts start on Thursday March 19 and you can enjoy one daily through the Facebook of the Department itself at 19:00.

The first performance will be by the cellist Irene Ortega, one of the soloists of the Extraordinary Concert of Between Strings and Metals dedicated to Beethoven and is certified by the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid and Master of Arts in Cello Performance by the Royal Academy of Music of London University, obtaining the Distinction & Dip Ram diplomas.

Subsequently, on Friday, March 20.

It will be the turn of the recent winner of the Mining Reef of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas, Alejandro Solano.

The trumpeter Juanito Rubio, who can be seen assiduously collaborating with groups such as Karmacadabra or Río Viré, will perform on Saturday, March 21, and clarinetist José Luis Inglés, solo clarinetist of the Young National Orchestra of Spain (JONDE) and winner of the first The North International Music Competition award 2018, will do so on Sunday, March 22.

The councilor for the Area and the special delegate for Culture, David Martínez and Carlos Piñana, have assured that "they are going to be some masterful performances because they are all extraordinary musicians, who will once again show us the musical talent we have in our own municipality. In the coming years days more local artists will join this initiative and I want to thank everyone for their predisposition because they have not hesitated to do their bit to make this difficult situation more bearable â€�.

In addition, the Cartagena painter and illustrator Clara Ledo has been the creator of the cycle's poster, with a work created and loaned for the occasion.
