The Cartagena City Council has temporarily suspended the activity of the three mobile clean points destined for the collection of special domestic waste, during the health alert situation decreed by the Government of the Nation.
The service will continue to be provided from the La Asomada and La Vaguada Ecoparks at their usual time and calendar, although with security protocols specifically designed to protect the operators at these facilities.
The suspension of the mobile points has the dual objectives of minimizing the risk of COVID-19 spreading through the municipality and assigning the released personnel to higher priority services, such as street cleaning.
