The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) has closed its facilities this Saturday.
The closure occurs once the state of alarm has been decreed by the Government of Spain, and after consultation with the Monitoring Committee for the Epidemic Situation COVID-19 of the UPCT.
This situation does not suppose the cessation of the activity of the University, as announced by the Rector, Alejandro Díaz Morcillo.
The UPCT buildings will remain closed until further orders.
They will only be able to access the same authorized personnel in accordance with the rectoral resolution published this Saturday, published in the Folder of the Citizen of the University.
The Management will adopt the necessary instructions to guarantee the maintenance services and those others that are convenient for the insurance of people, goods and activities.
Díaz Morcillo has exhorted the entire University Community to comply with the instructions and recommendations issued by the health authorities and to maintain calm and citizen responsibility.
