The City of Cartagena, through the Department of Human Resources, has reinforced the service of prevention of occupational hazards by incorporating personnel from other municipal services, in order to implement containment measures in the different work centers that prevent the spread of the coronavirus among public employees.
These measures include the signaling of a safety distance of one meter, from which the public will be served, with the corresponding indicative signs.
The attention to the public as far as possible will be done by appointment.
Training courses have also been suspended and meetings in municipal offices limited;
At the same time that, to maximize hygiene measures, disinfectant gels are being distributed among all services and a provision of masks has been made, pending the evolution of the virus in the municipality.
These come to add to the already existing in the toilets for hand washing and the disinfectant dispenser in the places of tactile signing.
Through the intranet, a series of recommendations have been made on how to perform a correct handwash, as well as the characteristics of the coronavirus and the means to protect itself from its contagion.
Other measures adopted have referred to the reduction in the number of visitors admitted to the City Hall, which will now be in groups of a maximum of 15 people.
