This morning, the Councilor of the municipal group MC Cartagena, Isabel García, has assessed the new breach of the local government by not presenting the Town Hall budget project for the year 2020 on March 5, as announced in Repeatedly, the Councilor for Finance, Esperanza Nieto (PP), to the newspaper 'La Verdad'.
Gone are the intentions of the person in charge of the area, who communicated in mid-July that his team finalized the draft of the 2019 municipal budgets to take it to the Plenary during the month of August.
Finally, the debate took place on the last day of October.
At the same time, Nieto was advancing that, in parallel, work was being done on the elaboration of a draft budget for 2020. Eight months later, the popular councilor remains in evidence as she is unable even to promote the debate.
The newspaper library and the promises set in calendars again play tricks on them.
In this disturbing context, Isabel García has started her argument, noting that "we remain without budgets for 2020 because Arroyo, Castejón, even Padín, have announced many things and now do not fit in the project."
Revanchist 'management' paid by neighbors
Then, the councilor has referred to the 'leaders' of this Government as "a trio concerned with covering their decadent political careers with grandiloquent announcements. Any responsibility comes great and only work from resentment towards MC and José López for have demonstrated that it can be managed with results and closeness ".
In reference to economic policy, the Cartagenerist leader has reported that "de Castejón we all know that it is not enough. As Nieto announced, he left the piggy bank empty in less than two years."
An economic and social chaos to which the sum with the PP of Arroyo "is not that it has not been irrelevant. They have increased the debt, the contempt to all Cartagena and municipal employees. All this sprinkled with that sense of collapse that announces a hard recession. "
Cynical stability
Going back to the beginning of the legislature, the MC councilor recalled that "in July 2019 they talked about stability, certainty and work. Eight months later, we have a depressed municipality, a rejected government and the certainty that they neither know how to do it nor want to" .
"They do not bother to meet the deadlines, despite having enough votes. Their kidnapping of institutions has only one objective, to contribute to the suffocation of Cartagena in exchange for a few years of personal comfort," he lamented.
Isabel García has concluded by adding that "all indications lead us to conclude that 2020 will be the third year lost. The culprits of the mess, 'La Trinca', walk smiling at the expense of the Cartagena."
