The Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Health, Manuel Padín, made this Thursday, March 5, without prior notice, an inspection of the facilities of the Center for Domestic Animal Treatment and Treatment (CATAD) to check first-hand the state of the complex , after receiving neighborhood complaints at the Department.
Upon arrival, attended by the CATAD manager, David Cervantes, the mayor has supervised the cheniles where the dogs and cats are.
The councilman has also verified that the occupation of the center is at the limit.
Manuel Padín has been especially interested in a female dog affected by mastitis after having given birth at the Center.
The deputy mayor has been able to see how the management of CATAD is attending to the animal, which has meant that it improves its condition.
Finally, the councilor has lived in situ the adoption of a dog by two citizens.
This situation has allowed the mayor to remember the importance of adoption.
