Yesterday was the celebration of the extraordinary plenary session of the Neighborhood Board of La Aljorra to address the problem of citizen insecurity suffered by the residents of this council.

This is the second Plenary promoted by MC to address this problem in the neighborhoods and districts of the municipality after the one recently held in La Palma.

In this sense, it is possible to contextualize that, last December, PP, Citizens and transfugues rejected in the municipal plenary the motion that MC presented to provide more police means to La Aljorra.

During the session, carried out at the initiative of MC, training that has in the Aljorra with the vowels José Miguel Méndez, Esther Guzmán and Francisco José Rodríguez, the motion proposed by the Cartagenerist formation was approved to increase the presence of the Local Police in the area , enabling a stay of the Civic Center as the base of the patrols that serve in the area.

In addition, the agent in second activity serving OMITA is urged to be relocated to the Civic Center to increase the sense of security in the area, as well as to facilitate the work of the professionals of the Corps.

Likewise, this initiative promotes the necessary steps, in a coordinated manner with the City Council, so that other bodies and security forces such as the Civil Guard have more means;

encourage training and information, through the Fire Department, to especially sensitive groups in La Aljorra, in addition to urging the Cartagena City Council to prepare the Self-Protection Plan for the Children's Center of La Aljorra, which opened its doors without complying with the Mandatory to have a necessary document to prevent and control risks on people and respond appropriately to possible emergency situations.

The municipal spokesman of MC, José López, has reported that "the groups represented in the Neighborhood Board of La Aljorra were forced to support our proposal in a session in which the PP and the PSOE transfugees gave a new sample of their null interest in solving the problems of the neighbors ".
