The Fire Department of the City Council of Cartagena will celebrate its patron saint San Juan de Dios on Friday, March 6, with the traditional Mass in the Basilica of Charity and a Spanish wine of subsequent fellowship at an establishment of Molinos Marfagones.
The religious office attended by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, accompanied by the councilor of the area of ​​Citizen Security, Public Road and Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, and the head of the service, Francisco Gómez Ávalos, as well as other members of the Municipal Corporation and various authorities and representatives of associations, will take place at 12 noon.
The subsequent celebration in a well-known establishment of Marfagones Mills will take place from 1 pm.
The Fire Department, integrated into the Firefighting, Rescue and Civil Protection Service of the City of Cartagena, is currently composed of a hundred people, which is based in the Security Park of the Media Legua.
