The program includes the III Sample of UCAM Cartagena Volunteering in the Heroes de Cavite square, where non-profit organizations will present their work from Thursday to Saturday, an exhibition of typical costumes from America and Africa, and three talks.
From the Institute of Charity and Volunteering Juan Pablo II of the Catholic University San Antonio, who directs the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Antonio Alcaraz, an International Conference on Charity and Volunteering has been promoted for the first time in his Cartagena Campus, as a continuation of those made last week in the city of Murcia.
Specifically, in the Hall of Acts of UCAM Cartagena this afternoon two conferences dedicated to "Christian Values" are held, which highlights that of the "Mother Support Network" by the delegate in Cartagena of the Red Madre association.
For its part, in the same place on Wednesday, March 4 at 10:00 hours, the day is dedicated to Development Cooperation, with the nurse and midwife Esther Martínez, who has worked with Doctors Without Borders on projects in Kenya and Angola, which will explain how "Being a nurse in humanitarian crises".
In addition, the Los Dolores Campus will host until March 13 an exhibition of traditional costumes from countries such as Colombia, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Kenya or Ecuador and the Region of Murcia.
Finally, on Thursday, March 5 at 11:30 a.m. the III Volunteer Exhibition will be inaugurated that the UCAM of Cartagena organizes in the Plaza de Héroes de Cavite and that can be visited until Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm and from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Several tens of charitable entities of the Region will participate in it.
