Navarra has been one of the pioneer communities in coeducation, in educating in equality, when implementing the 2017-2018 Skolae course.
A program that is being implemented in a staggered manner throughout the educational network of the Regional Community and which was recently awarded by Unesco and whose objective is "to provide all students with the possibility of learning to live in equality".
To make this program better known, this Wednesday, March 4, at 7:00 p.m., you will be at the Higher Technical School of Architecture and Building, Pilar Mayo Falque, a member of the Department of Education of the Navarro Government.
This talk is in the VI Conference 'An education for the 21st century'.
The event will be presented by Mercedes Trujillo, member of the organizing committee of these days.
Skolae is developed through content, activities, resources and materials with the aim that children can "choose, build and live their own vital project from knowledge, freedom and the ability to decide on their future without conditions of gender, learning to identify inequalities, to fight against them and to exercise their right to equality in the context of each culture, religion, social class, functional situation, identity or sexual orientation, etc. ”.
This educational program also incorporates contents that cross the itinerary in a transversal way such as the prevention of violence against women and girls, the visibility of women and their contributions, respect for identities, cultures, sexualities and their diversity.
