Cartagena, Childhood and Adolescence Friendly City, hosted this weekend about 1,000 scouts of the Scout Federation of Scouts of the Region, with the collaboration of the Department of Youth.
Beaver colonies, aged between 6 and 8 years were received by the Councilor for Youth, David Martínez, who welcomed them and encouraged them to enjoy and get to know our historic city, through the city games during their Participation in the already traditional event of the Splash.
The Splash is the first exit in which the beaver colonies carry out an activity "intersections" that under the motto "Share", promotes equality and solidarity between them.
The Youth Center of Quarries, hosted the rest of activities carried out by the young Beavers, making available to the Federation the shelter, camping area and other spaces of the same.
OPENING INTERLOBATES 2020
On the other hand, the 800 young people between the ages of 8 and 11 and that constitute the section of herds of wolves, carried out their activities in the area of ​​Alumbres, where they were accompanied by the Councilor for Education, Irene Ruiz, who enjoyed with them a morning full of activities at the inauguration of Scout interlobes of 2020.
