The players of the Baseball School of FC Cartagena this afternoon visited various facilities of the Muralla del Mar Campus of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), knowing the studies offered by the UPCT and the services enjoyed by its students.
The youth players discovered the Student House, the CRAI-Library, an ELDI Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Laboratory, the Digital Content Production Center (CPCD), the UPCT electronic sports team and the drone team.
The visit was attended by the cadets, youth and subsidiary of the quarry, along with some parents who wanted to learn more about the teaching institution.
Scholarships for high performance athletes
The UPCT awards scholarships for students with the category of high-performance athletes that include free accommodation in university residences, as well as a variable economic endowment based on the classification obtained in the different championships in which the student has participated and facilities that allow the practice of sport to be compatible with studies at the UPCT.
