The Department of Culture, in collaboration with the Association of French Teachers of the Region of Murcia and the French Alliance of Cartagena, is celebrating a Francophone film festival at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
Within the festival, next Monday, March 2, the French film 'Comme un lion' will be screened in two countries, at 9.00 am and 11.30 am, and although it is intended primarily for French students, 30 seats are left free for those who want to watch the movies, in both countries.
It will be screened in an original version subtitled in Spanish, with free admission until capacity is completed.
ABOUT THE MOVIE
The synopsis of the film tells that Mitri, 15, lives in a town in Senegal where, like all the boys of his age, he plays football dreaming of one day belonging to the Barça or Chelsea team.
A coach looks at him.
Mitri wants to try his luck.
But to conquer the great European clubs, you have to pay money and the family raises funds to help you.
Once in Paris it collapses: Mitri is abandoned, without money and ashamed to be defeated to the town.
An odyssey of apaños and narrownesses awaits him until, finally, through an acquaintance, he returns to his dream football.
