The Board of Directors of the Casco Antiguo Society has given the green light to the accounts for the year 2020. The budget reaches a total of 3,790,127 euros.
The income forecast for this exercise is based on the sale of eight plots located in the vicinity of Morería Baja Street, in the Molinete, as well as several plots of municipal heritage located in different parts of the municipality, for which it is expected to enter just over 5,200,000 euros.
Among the objectives of the Society for this year, the execution of the urbanization works on Morería Baja, Cantarerías and Morería Alta streets is noteworthy, as well as continuing with the rehabilitation of municipally owned homes that will begin in the Lo Campano neighborhood, extending municipal actions to the recovery of degraded areas such as Los Mateos, Lo Campano, San Antón and the Virgen de la Caridad neighborhood.
The mayor and head of the Urban Planning Area, Ana Belén Castejón, stressed that the stability of the current Government allows carrying out projects that until now had been paralyzed, such as the recovery of the aforementioned neighborhoods, due to the opposition's refusal to approve The accounts of this company.
The accounts have been approved with the votes in favor of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, the councilor Juan Pedro Torralba and the representatives of the Popular Party, Esperanza Nieto, and Citizens, Manuel Padín.
