The Seventh Urban Mile Solidaria de la Huertecica was full of activities where adults and children had fun playing basketball, badminton, tennis, zumba as well as children's workshops with games and face painting.
In addition to the 1,609 meters of the mile, and the last race without competition, for anyone who wanted to do it more slowly or even in disguise (taking advantage of carnival dates), and of course the solidarity dorsal.
The objective of the event was to carry out an experience within the preventive field, that would promote sport and healthy practice, encounter and coexistence and that would foster solidarity with the most disadvantaged people.
The day was organized by the La Huertecica Collective Association, with the collaboration of the Cartagena City Council
The Deputy Mayor and Councilor for the Area of ​​Social Welfare and Sports, Noelia Arroyo, the Councilor for Sports, Diego Ortega, and the Councilor for Social Services, Mercedes García, attended.
