About seven o'clock this afternoon there has been a collapse of the building of a building located at the corner of Cuatro Santos and Aire streets, in the Historic Center of Cartagena, with no injuries.
The building was uninhabited.
Although most of the landslide has been recorded on an adjacent plot, some rubble has fallen on Cuatro Santos Street, affecting the gates of some homes.
They have quickly come to the place of the Local Police and Fire of the City of Cartagena, as well as the Councilor for Public Safety, Juan Pedro Torralba, to make the first decisions, such as the cordon of the area before possible new landslides and the cut from the streets of Aire and Cuatro Santos.
Similarly, neighboring neighbors have been advised to sleep in family homes tonight, while a couple of agents have been established to monitor the area throughout the night, until early Monday morning Fire and Urban Planning technicians carry out a thorough inspection on the state of the building structure.
