The young Cartagena writer Aurora Nieto López, with only 14 years, presents on Tuesday, February 25, at 8:00 p.m., her first book 'New life' in the Josefina Soria library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, within the program activities Read, Think, Imagine.
The novel has 300 pages and talks about universal themes: from love to friendship, and more current ones, such as bullying.
The guiding thread of Aurora's work is the tribulations of a 12-year-old teenager who has changed cities and institutes with difficulties of adaptation and much fear.
These are the experiences that many kids experience today.
It is the story of a young man who learns to overcome the toughest stage of his life: adolescence. This novel shows that despite all the adversities starting from scratch is not always so bad.
