With the collaboration of the Association of French Teachers of the Region of Murcia and the French Alliance of Cartagena, the Department of Culture is celebrating a Francophone film festival called Cinlyce at the Ramn Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
This Friday, February 21, the French comedy “Mission Pays Basque” will be screened in two countries, at 9.00 am and 11.30 am and although it is mainly intended for French students, 30 places are left free for those who want to watch the movies, in both countries. It will be screened in an original version subtitled in Spanish, with free admission until full capacity is reached.
The synopsis of the film tells that Sibylle, a Parisian commercial, must go to the French Basque Country for professional reasons.
There it will be invaded by the uses and customs of the Basque rural environment, which will be a strong cultural shock for the young woman.
