The vice mayor and head of the Sports Area, Noelia Arroyo, has supervised this morning at the Central Pavilion of Wsell de Guimbarda the delivery of a consignment of materials for physical maintenance activities for these facilities and the network of municipal pavilions in neighborhoods and Diputations of Cartagena.
This is the first acquisition of material of 2020, which has had a cost of 5,600 euros and is composed of mats and insulators, weights, instruments for rhythmic gymnastics, pilates and other physical and sports activities.
Part of the materials will be distributed in the Barrio de Peral, Marfagones, Canteras and Los Dolores facilities, in addition to the La Aljorra and Pozo Estrecho pools.
The vice mayor has informed about the reinforcement of the maintenance services in the pavilion, which is the most intensive sports facility, with uninterrupted schedules from 8 am to 11:30 pm, every day, and on weekends dedicated to competitions.
Around 4,000 users pass through the Pavilion weekly to carry out some of the 25 activities that are practiced in the 12 different sports spaces that the facility has.
Arroyo has said that the intensity of its use requires a planning effort made by municipal Sports employees to make the Pavilion available to both private users, and for teaching in the TAFAD Vocational Training Module, as well as for training and training. federated club competitions.
