The Café Singer Cycle will start next March at La Palma Folklore House, organized by the Cartagena de La Palma City Folk Group, with the collaboration of the Cartagena City Council.
The Councilor special delegate of Culture, Carlos Pińana, has assured that it is about "unifying music with gastronomy, since normally after each concert a tasting of the typical Cartagena dishes is carried out", he has also insisted that from the Town Hall "This cycle will continue to be supported because it is a great tradition, and because La Palma is considered a great cultural epicenter."
For his part, the President of the Folklore Group City of Cartagena, Pedro Antonio Gómez, wanted to make "a call to the Cartagena society to enjoy in a coexistence environment where old smells and flavors are remembered".
On Saturday, March 7 will be the inauguration with the performance of the group It is never too late, and on Saturday 14 will continue the programming with the Guiriband group show.
Friday, March 20 will be the turn of the star piece, a special collaboration of David Barrull that will offer a concert of his best hits.
On Saturday 21, the Piku group will perform.
Finally, the program will be closed on Saturday 28, with the presentation of the poster announcing the XXVIII National Folklore Festival in the Region of Cartagena and the performance of the Ruta 33 group.
All the benefits collected in Café Cantante will be used in the programming of the National Folklore Festival in the Region of Cartagena.
