On Tuesday, February 18, the meetings with authors return to the Municipal Libraries of Cartagena.
This week is the turn of author Gabriel García de Oro and illustrator Puri Hernández Molero, in a joint meeting, in which children from 5th and 6th Primary will participate, who have worked and read the book The Cannibals Club Bites to Dracula, from Anaya publishing house.
TURNOS OF THE MEETINGS
First day: Tuesday, February 18
This first day, author and illustrator will visit the Libraries of Barrio Peral and Los Dolores.
The first two sessions, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. will be at the Manuel Puig Campillo Library (Barrio Peral) and at 12:30 p.m. they will meet at the Rafael Rubio Library (Los Dolores).
These meetings will be attended by students from Vicente Ros, San Félix and San Cristóbal schools.
Second day: Wednesday, February 19
On the second day the first two meetings will be in the auditorium of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, and by the end of the morning they will return to the Rafael Rubio Library (Los Dolores) to close their meetings in Cartagena.
In these sessions you will meet students from Santa María del Buen Aire, Fernando Garrido, Maristas and Sagrado Corazón schools.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR
Gabriel García de Oro was born in Barcelona on a hot July 12, 1976. He studied Philosophy, although he works in advertising as creative, where he has received several awards.
Currently, he combines this activity with the writing of children's books, youth and non-fiction, while he is a regular contributor to El País Semanal.
On the other hand, Purificación Hernández Molero has a degree in Fine Arts and is dedicated to illustration since she has teeth to bite.
His characters inhabit magazines, advertisements and even television series.
But what he likes most are books, especially those that carry illustrations.
They say that it is capable of zamparse four or five of a bite and then, in addition, ask for desserts a few more.
