Administrations must be involved in the integral development of Lo Campano and work for the improvement in the quality of life of their neighbors.
From the PSOE of Cartagena we want to highlight the importance of the project "PARTICIPATORY LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PACT FOR THE PREVENTION OF SOCIAL EXCLUSION IN THE BARRIOS DE LOS MATEOS AND THE CAMPANO 2019-2022" that was promoted from our political formation financed by European funds through of the Autonomous Community and the City Council of Cartagena.
This plan visualizes two of the four neighborhoods with the greatest inequality that exist throughout the Region and are located in the municipality of Cartagena: Los Mateos and Lo Campano.
This project helps, but it is not the definitive solution to alleviate the social situation of these areas.
That is why from the PSOE of Cartagena we demand comprehensive interventions in these neighborhoods that solve the problems of their neighbors.
The Cartagena Socialists do not understand how the Regional Government has not included any item in the draft budgets to help the neighbors of these four neighborhoods.
There is no budget line for the neighborhood plan in Cartagena at the regional level which demonstrates, once again, how little it matters to the executive of the autonomous community to improve the well-being of people affected by the scourge of inequality.
From the PSOE of Cartagena we will continue to fight to eradicate inequality in these and all neighborhoods of the municipality, for this we will promote initiatives in this line.
