This week, the councilors of the Municipal Group MC Cartagena, Isabel García, María José Soler and Arantxa Pérez, accompanied by the vocalist of the Cartagena formation in the Municipal Neighborhood Board of Alitudes, José Miguel Contreras, held a meeting with representatives of the Association of Vista Alegre neighbors to address various issues of interest to this neighborhood.
The visit to Vista Alegre gives continuity to those made earlier by MC in other locations such as the Mediterranean Urbanization or Loma de Canteras, respecting the close commitment reached by this training with the neighbors to be the speaker of their interests and concerns.
The representatives of MC took note of the needs of the environment, as indicated by Councilwoman Arantxa Pérez: "Vista Alegre is a very active neighborhood that has several neighborhood associations, such as women, seniors, and even a troupe, which this year marks its 35th anniversary. This reality, certainly very positive, also requires a response from the Administration. "
In this sense, the neighborhood representatives transmitted to MC the suitability of preparing a room that is not currently in use in the Social Center to achieve, with this extension, that the neighborhood associations can meet their objectives in the best possible conditions, without having that give up any group to develop their activities as has happened lately due to lack of space.
To this end, it has advanced that "we will promote that the Plan of Pedanías, Deputations and Peripheral or Depressed Neighborhoods of the Autonomous Community finance the conditioning of the Social Premises, and there is an equitable and solidary distribution of these regional funds that last year were limited only to finance projects in the traditional fiefdoms of Castejón ".
Finally, the neighbors transferred to the members of MC other needs of the neighborhood such as the repainting of zebra crossings, the relocation of vertical signage, as well as an increase in the frequency of cleaning.
