The Department of Infrastructure finishes the works of improvement of public lighting in 18 lampposts in the section between the roundabout of access to the Polygon of San Ana and the roundabout of the Road of the Siphon XIV, next to Salvamento Marítimo.
The Councilor for the Area, María Casajús, explained that “these works have consisted of replacing the 12-meter high street lighting stands with another 10 meters, to avoid the influence of existing woodland in the area than in recent years. years had grown and affected the performance of the points of light. In addition, the councilor informed that "the power has been increased to guarantee the lighting of the pedestrian path and give greater security to pedestrians and athletes who use this path to practice sports, as well as the intense traffic that supports this area" .
In this action, valued at 5,300 euros, six new foundations have been made, to remove those lampposts that were completely covered by trees and have been placed in other parts of the section to improve lighting work, as well as, materials have been reused in good condition of other recently renovated facilities.
