On Sunday, February 16, the IV Edition of the FX Baster Cup La Aljorra, organized by the Festival Committee of La Aljorra and the Club 100x100 All Sport, is held with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.

During the presentation, this Friday, February 14, of the event, the councilor for sports, Diego Ortega, stressed that La Aljorra is a "hospitable town" and encouraged all Cartagena to attend this bike test that will include a variety of activities with a MasterClass and tasting of a giant paella for all attendees.

The director of the race, Juan Carlos Meca, explained that the circuit will be held in all the places of La Aljorra with 42 km of travel, "it is a very fast race that helps runners prepare for their leagues."

He highlighted the III Faster BXM Mini Cup, aimed at children aged 6 to 14 years, and remember that registration is free, and can be done even on Sunday with parental permission.

Currently they already have 240 participants, exceeding 227 the previous year.

As noted by Meca, this is an event with "very good acceptance that year after year is increasing" and expect to reach 300 registered next year, having a capacity of 350 people.

For her part, the secretary of the festival commission of La Aljorra, Eva Bernal, said that "it is a sporting event that is open to all families who want to join us."

And the president of the party commission of La Aljorra, Joaquín Aznar, expressed his gratitude to the sponsors of the event, among them to the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena.

PROGRAM

The test will begin at 9:30 am for adults, 9:45 am for children, and 10:00 am for E-Bikes.

How complementary activities will be inflatable for the little ones, and a Zumba MasterClass, taught by the monitor of La Aljorra, Cris Zuma, and from 11:00 will start the rest of the activities.

There will also be a paella for all attendees who want to taste it, with a very affordable price of three euros.

The event was also attended by the president of the Municipal Neighborhood Board of La Aljorra, Antonio Conesa.
