The vice mayor and head of the Sports Area, Noelia Arroyo, announced this morning that the first 500,000 euros of a four-year plan that will involve a total investment of 2 million euros to install artificial turf in all will be consigned in the 2020 budgets the municipal fields in use that still lack it.
Taking advantage of the presence of the directors of the Association of Clubs of Cartagena (AFCT) in the presentation of the Carabela de Plata trophy, the deputy mayor has summed up that this multiannual plan valued at 2 million euros will serve to complete in this legislature the installation of lawn in ten facilities in which 63 teams and more than 1,200 players train and play. â€
Arroyo recalled that at the moment the contracting of 2 soccer fields 11, those of El Bohío and Molinos Marfagones, is being processed.
"When we have approved the budgets, we will advance in that plan with new hires with the objective of adding another eight grass fields in this legislature," he said.
The vice mayor has expressed to AFCT executives her desire that the investments announced today "help you in your work and that we contribute to making a better quarry for city teams."
