The municipal government has moved to Lhicarsa the implementation of greater control measures and has demanded compliance with new measures to ensure transparency in the provision of its road cleaning and garbage collection services.
The Government has transmitted, in a meeting held with executives of the company by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón;
the vice mayor, Noelia Arroyo;
and the deputy mayor, Manuel Padín, the dissatisfaction with the quality of the service that is being provided in Cartagena and has informed that the Department of Infrastructure has reinforced the inspection service to supervise the performance of Lhicarsa.
Likewise, it has announced that objective quality criteria will be established on the level of cleanliness to be able to properly assess it.
The municipal officials have summoned the concessionaire to transmit in real time the data on vehicle positioning and cleaning brigades in order to be able to continuously monitor the implementation of routes and compliance with the cleaning programs.
The Government has also asked the company to create an application open to citizens in which notices and complaints about road cleaning can be transmitted.
