The time has given the reason to the Cartagenerist formation since the Segura Hydrographic Confederation (CHS) already warned the City Council in March 2019 that the Government Board had prompted the revision of the agreement without a report of flooding of the land.

Months later, in August, the CHS issued an unfavorable report on part of the residential area due to the risk of flooding in case of torrential rains, in addition to making other safety recommendations on the road and warning about the lack of definition of works for rainwater discharge

Regarding the large announced park of almost 300,000 square meters, it is already known that reality will be very different from what was promised by limiting itself to the contribution of the promoter after the Government failed to attend European funds last summer and not even show up for the call of 2020.

This context has been valued by the spokesman of the municipal group MC Cartagena, José López, who has started remembering the accumulated delay in the road, in addition to the 'initiative' of various owners to lift a concrete wall that prevents it from being built in its I usually.

The City Council, unable to finance the park

"Cartagena has been left out and has no funding for the park. A park that Mr. Olivo cannot demand either because Castejón signed him not to do it for anything, at least for the Cartagena people."

Project 'Boria' rejected

The PP is unmarked from the request for a report to the Legal Council

The cartagenerista leader, later, recalled that "in the spring, the PP, like MC, wanted to ask the Legal Council for a report on the law. That is what the Plenary approved. But things changed in summer. The PP was already comfortable 'in the shade' and he accepted the entire procedure. From MC we appealed against the process for not taking into account that it is a flood zone. And in recent dates we have received the dismissal of our allegations. "

The Confederation reports on notable deficiencies not provided for in the Plan

The spokesman for the Cartagenerists has continued his argument by stating that, as reflected in the municipal resolution, "the agreement was validated by the Governing Board in February 2019 without the report of the Segura Hydrographic Confederation (CHS). We have confirmed that the CHS warned of the flooding of the land in March 2019 (after approval), as well as informing in August 2019 in very conclusive terms. "
