The writer from Malaga, Pablo Aranda, will visit our city on Wednesday 12 and Thursday, February 13 to meet with students from the 3rd grade of primary schools in Cartagena and its region.
The boys have read and worked on the book: "The Weirdest School in the World" by Anaya.
TURNOS OF THE MEETINGS
First day: Wednesday, February 12
This first day will be complete in the library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, in the auditorium.
There will be three sessions, at 9:30, at 11:00 and at 12:30.
And they will be attended by students from the Patronato, Stella Maris, La Concepción, Vicente Ros, Santa María del Buen Aire, Luis Vives, Fernando Garrido, La Vaguada and Maristas schools.
Second day: Thursday, February 13
The second day he will have meetings in the Manuel Puig Campillo library and in the Rafael Rubio de los Dolores.
The first session will be held in the Peral Barrio library and the next two, from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., will meet with students from the schools in the Barrio de los Dolores.
In these meetings the schools of Ciudad Jardín, San Felix, Our Lady of Sorrows, San Cristobal and the Sacred Heart will participate.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Pablo Aranda has a degree in Hispanic Philology and a tireless traveler.
Among other occupations, he has been a professor in a juvenile correctional facility and has taught Spanish at the University of Oran.
Since the publication of The Other City (Espasa Calpe, 2003), a novel that was a finalist for the 2003 Spring Award and won the 10th Andalusian Critics Award for the best first novel, it is dedicated exclusively to writing books and articles for various publications.
He is also the author of Routine Detachment (Arguval, 2003), which obtained the 1st.
