The activities for Much More May began this weekend, with the photographic days organized by Pablo Sánchez del Valle in "Con-Vivencias 2020".
Project based on the meeting and visit to the Cartagena-La Unión mining mountain range and the Mar Menor area (Lo Poyo-Los Nietos) by photography students who will carry out a joint work that will be exhibited during the emerging art festival.
For the second consecutive year, this photographic coexistence project is being carried out, in which art students from Orihuela and Almería have participated in this edition.
This weekend, students have visited the Las Matildes mine, the Sierra Minera de La Unión, Portman, the Lo Poyo area ... accompanied by a member of the Pacto platform for the Mar Menor and another of the Sierra Foundation Mining
In addition to knowing the areas and their problems, young people have photographed the areas for their subsequent artistic project, coordinated by their teachers, based on the title of the festival "Before the collapse. Art and climate emergency".
The works will be displayed on a canvas located in a visible area in the center of Cartagena during the Festival.
The activity of this project continues this weekend with students and teachers from a Santa Ana institute.
