The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, has received this morning the new president of the Processionist Award of the Year Foundation, Pedro Negroles.
Negroles, who was accompanied by members of its board of directors, explained to the mayor the organizational details of the next award of this award, whose process for submitting applications remains open until Monday, February 24, when the jury will meet .
The delivery will take place, as has been happening for years, in the lobby of the City Hall, in an act that will take place on Friday, March 27, at 7:00 p.m.
One day later, on Saturday, March 28, the religious medal will be awarded to the new processionist in a Eucharist that will be officiated at 12 noon in Santo Domingo.
The association also plans to organize a series of lectures on Holy Week in Caragena, which will take place throughout Lent.
Pedro Negroles has recently been elected president of the Foundation of this Prize, which this year celebrates its thirty-eighth edition, following the recent death of its president and founder, Santiago Díaz Izquierdo.
