The finalists of the Cartagena Saetas National Contest 2020 already have a name and surname.
After celebrating last Friday and Saturday the semifinals at the House of Folklore of La Palma, the Jury of the contest has decided to classify Víctor Palacios, from Barcelona, ​​José Luis Díaz Ruíz "El Mojaquero", from Cartagena, Isabel María España, from Santa Cruz (Córdoba) and Manuel Gómez Torres "El Ecijano", by Écija.
The Church of Santa María de Gracia will host this event on March 21.
The previous editions were for the singers Juan Fariña, from Huelva, who won in 2014;
Miguel Ángel Lara Solano 'El Canario', from El Saucejo (Seville), in 2015;
Ana García Caro, from Huelva, in 2016, Juanito Berrocal, in 2017, Jesús León, from Seville, in 2018 and, Rocío "La Serrano", from Seville, in 2019.
The Jury in this 2020 was chaired by José Muelas (flamencologist and former Dean of the Cartagena Bar Association) and composed of Antonio Patón (Lo Ferro National Flamenco Competition), Francisco Cayuela (Cante de las Minas de La Unión Foundation), Antonio Ayala "El Rampa" (singer with great triumphs such as the La Mining Lamp of La Unión, the Melón de Oro de Lo Ferro or the Saetas de La Unión competition), Lola Cayuela (Cartagena lawyer, flamenco artist and singer) and Antonio Casado (expert in flamenco by the Agrupación de Portapasos de la Stma. Virgen de la Piedad).
The National Saetas Contest of Cartagena has the collaboration of the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazareno (Marrajos), the City Council of Cartagena, the Ministry of Culture of the Region of Murcia, the Catholic University San Antonio UCAM, the Folk Group "City of Cartagena" of La Palma, and the Groups of Our Father Jesus Nazareno, Stma.

The National Saetas de Cartagena Contest is endowed with the following awards:
FIRST PRIZE, endowed with 2,100 Euros and Trophy made by the sculptor D. Fernando Sáenz Elorrieta.
SECOND PRIZE, endowed with 1,050 Euros and Trophy of the Agrupación Nuestra Padre Jesús Nazareno.
THIRD PRIZE, endowed with 750 Euros and Image of the Pieta de las Agrupación de la Stma.
Virgin of Piety.
ACCÉSIT, endowed with 450 Euros and image of the Dolorosa Virgin of the Grouping of the Dolorosa Virgin.
Admission to the end of the contest is free until capacity is reached.
