The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 7 at the Civic Center of La Palma |

Alfredo Jesús Sánchez Rodríguez, Ariadna Macas Romero and Samuel Pintos González have been chosen winners of the XLVII Floral Games of the Field of Cartagena and the XXVI National Poetry Young Contest 2020, respectively.

The decision of both competitions, organized by the Cultural and Sports Center of La Palma has been made public after the jury meeting attended by the Councilor for Culture of the City of Cartagena, Carlos Pińana Conesa.

The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 7 at 9:30 p.m. at the Civic Center of La Palma, where the writer and doctor in Philology and Theology, Francisco Henares Díaz, will act as maintainer.

The winner of the Floral Games of the Field of Cartagena, Alfredo Jesús Sánchez Rodríguez, is domiciled in Ciudad Real, and has been unanimously extolled by the jury for his work Passionate Sonnets before abandoned people for which he will receive the Flor Natural trophy and 1,300 euros.

Within the prizes of the XXVI National Young Poetry Contest, they have been awarded in the first category, with a diploma and 400 euros, Ariadna Macas Romero, domiciled in Navarra for her work Footprints in solitude;

and in the second category, with a diploma and 600 euros, Samuel Pintos González, domiciled in Fuenlabrada (Madrid), for his work Yesterday I was a field of flowers.
