The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, fired admiral Aniceto Rosique on Thursday, who has been in charge of the Military Arsenal of Cartagena and has been appointed Chief of Logistic Support of the Navy.
The mayor thanked the admiral for the great work he has carried out, not only in the direction of the Arsenal, but also increased the connection of the Navy with the Cartagena society.
"You have earned the love and respect of all Cartagena for your great work as an admiral, but especially for your greatness as a person," said Castejón.
The admiral has also thanked the support he has always received from the City Council and the Cartagena society and made himself available to the Government team to continue collaborating with Cartagena from its new responsibilities.
The second deputy mayor, Manuel Padín, also attended the farewell held at the City Hall, and the vice mayor, Noelia Arroyo, also said goodbye to the admiral this Friday accompanied by other councilors of the municipal government.
