The student Lucía Zamora Navarro of 4 ° ESO of the San Juan Bosco Salesianos Cartagena school has been awarded a scholarship by the Amancio Ortega Foundation to study Grade 11 (equivalent to 1 Baccalaureate) abroad in order to improve her level of English as well as knowing the culture and customs of the country that receives it since it will live with a host family during the 2020-2021 school year.
The Program announces 500 scholarships aimed at students of 4th ESO of Spanish centers, to study First Baccalaureate in a High School in Canada or the United States.
The Amancio Ortega Foundation Scholarship program aims to facilitate the learning of English and immersion in foreign culture to young people from Spanish institutes and colleges during an academic year.
The scholarship covers 100% of the services necessary to carry out a school year abroad: travel, school fees, validation of studies, accommodation and maintenance in a host family, medical and accident insurance, and continued support during the ten months of stay;
In no case does the scholarship imply the economic contribution of the value of these services to the beneficiary.
