The City Council of Cartagena aims to move forward in the project of the 'Local Participative Pact for the Prevention of situations of vulnerability and exclusion in Los Barros de Los Mateos and Lo Campano' which is carried out with the collaboration of the Autonomous Community, the Association Rasaca, and other entities.
The vice mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo, has met with representatives of the Rascasa Association to learn about the needs of these neighborhoods and continue working for their development through the Local Pact, from the consensus and with a planned road map.
It is precisely the main claim that the president of Rascasa, Manuel García, has moved that has insisted on the "need for a political consensus and the collaboration of the neighbors in the local pact".
Among the requests transferred by the association are the improvement of infrastructure, organization of training courses, providing neighbors with access to the labor market, combating social exclusion and increasing access to basic public services: measures included in the Local Pact and that through meetings like this Tuesday are pursued.
Arroyo has recognized Rascasa's great work and insisted on the "importance of giving visibility to the neighbors who contribute to the development of the neighborhoods and working together in three lines: insertion, training and revitalization."
