The Cartagena government has shown its intention to continue advancing along the itinerary that is already set to launch the Logistics Activities Zone of Los Camachos, in coincidence with what was stated by the businessmen of Cartagena, as the Vice Mayor has reiterated this morning, Noelia Arroyo, and the first deputy mayor, Manuel Padín, to the president of COEC, Ana Correa.
“This government has the same opinion as our businessmen, we must all follow the road map that is already drawn.
The immediate thing is to sign the three-way agreement between SEPES, the Autonomous Community and the City Council and proceed to the transfer of the free deposit and the Transportation Center, which must be the ZAL embryo, â€said Arroyo, who added that“ to comply with those commitments will be the best way to encourage entrepreneurs to invest in the ZAL accordingly, which is to create companies and generate employment. â€
Support for El Gorguel
The vice mayor added that "the management formulas will be established in due course, consulting all parties and always from the consensus."
Arroyo stressed that "precisely, consensus is the best guarantee that large projects will advance and in that sense I want to underline the great social consensus that has just been expressed around the El Gorguel project, an investment closely linked to the ZAL."
The vice mayor considers that “the unanimous support of the members of the Economic and Social Council is of great importance because it adds to the demands of Cartagena the voice of many sectors and organizations throughout the Region, such as trade unions, consumers and all city councils of the Autonomous community.
All have stated that it is a strategic project for the Region. â€
