The XXVIII International Contest of musical composition of pasodobles Villa de Pozo Estrecho met on Saturday its winner, 'Rosa María Escamilla', who won the first prize valued at 1,200 euros, diploma and trophy.
It was convened by the San Fulgencio Pozo Estrecho Neighborhood Association and the SAM Santa Cecilia, with the collaboration of the Cartagena City Council.
The ceremony, held last Saturday at the Civic Center of Pozo Estrecho, was attended by the Deputy Mayor, Manuel Padín, the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez and other members of the corporation, such as Enrique Pérez.
The event began with the interpretation of the pasodobles finalists of 'La Torre de la Carrova', 'San Fulgencio' and 'Rosa María Escamilla'.
All the works submitted to the contest were unpublished and interpreted by the SAM Santa Cecilia de Pozo narrow.
Secondly, with a prize endowed with 500 euros, diploma and trophy, it was 'La Torre de la Carrova', and the third prize, of 300 euros, diploma and trophy was awarded to 'San Fulgencio'.
In addition to the titles that competed for the first prize, there were two reserve, 'De banda a banda' and 'Juana Velasco'.
