The General Directorate of Cultural Assets of the Autonomous Community has authorized the owner of the Monastery, Hansa Urbana SA, to repair the checkpoint and restore the parts of the perimeter wall affected by the last DANA.
At the same time, it has required the necessary documentation for the definition of the cover of the gallery, from the point of view of cultural heritage.
With regard to the works planned in the checkpoint and covered of the gallery, once all the procedures are authorized, it is considered necessary that the work of removal of the drag elements due to the rains, cleaning and cleaning of the surface where it is going to act, be carried out under archaeological supervision, which will allow documenting the original remains of the checkpoint, including a study of walls, as a previous step to the execution of the works.
The repair / reconstruction of the perimeter wall contemplates the conditioning of the land by mechanical means and the excavation of the foundation trench.
Prior to the completion of the trench, an archaeological survey must be carried out to document the existence of possible phases of its construction.
