The Municipal Government of Cartagena has asked the Legal and Urban Planning services to make a report within one month on the estimation of costs derived from pending judgments and urban agreements with land compensation that must finally be paid in cash as consequence of the cancellation of the General Urban Planning Plan.
This report will also include the procedures of patrimonial responsibility that are processed for this same reason, as reported by the vice mayor, Noelia Arroyo.
Arroyo explained that the cancellation of the General Plan is preventing the implementation of the agreements reached a few years ago by the City Council with individuals who planned to pay land with urbanizable land for future projects.
This is the case of the four agreements to modify the payment conditions, which go from urban compensation to cash payments totaling one million euros and which the Local Government Board, meeting this noon, has agreed to authorize.
These are those from the expropriations of land agreed between 2005 and 2008 for the realization of roads such as the North Access to Cartagena, the Transversal Axis and the Siphon Road.
MORE FUNDS FOR THE MOLINETE AND THE ROMAN Amphitheater
The Governing Board has also agreed to incorporate the contribution of 600 thousand euros made by the Repsol Foundation to the municipal budgets for the continuity of the excavation work and enhancement of the Molinete Hill, which will be carried out in Cartagena, Puerto de Culturas.
It has also been agreed to include in the budgets the municipal contribution of 250 thousand euros that together with the one coming from 1.5 percent Cultural of the central government will add a million euros, with which the third phase of the consolidation and conservation of the outer wall of the old bullring and partial excavation of the Roman Amphitheater in Cartagena,
As the deputy mayor said, the municipal government plans to apply for this same program of 1.5 percent cultural, in its subsequent call, subsidies corresponding to the other two phases of action in the Amphitheater.

FIRST FOOTBALL-BEACH FIELD IN URRUTIAS THANKS TO THE DANA PARTY
The Government Board has also informed the decision of the residents of Los Urrutias so that part of the collection of the charity party of the DANA, disputed by FC Cartagena and FC Barcelona, ​​is destined to the construction of what will be the first beach soccer field of the Mar Menor, in Los Urrutias.
As explained by the deputy mayor and councilor of the area of ​​Sports, Noelia Arroyo, City Council and club have agreed, at the request of the neighbors, that the old tracks of Los Urrutias, very damaged by the floods, can be recovered with an installation of these characteristics, responding to a demand that is not covered and generating a new point of attraction for athletes.
The project is part of the investment program and sports promotion measures that the municipal government is preparing to support the southern part of the Mar Menor in response to the problems arising from the state of the water and the damages generated by the successive DANA.
GLORIA LEAVES A PROVISIONAL BALANCE OF 620 THOUSAND DAMAGES IN MUNICIPAL INFRASTRUCTURES
Finally, during the meeting of the municipal government, the balance of the damages suffered in municipal infrastructures due to the passing of the Gloria stormy earlier this week.
As reported by the Councilor for Infrastructure, María Casajús, 30 municipal workers in her department began work on cleaning and maintenance work on Tuesday to solve the damage caused by strong winds and rains.
The most affected areas were La Manga, Cabo de Palos, Playa Honda, Los Nietos and Los Urrutias, where the greatest damage occurred in the fall of 79 woodland units and around 14 lampposts, with a provisional economic estimate of about 620 thousand euros.
Specifically, after the damage assessment, 32 pines and a cypress have been lost in Playa Honda, 50 copies of palm trees and trees in La Manga, 11 palm trees in Cabo de Palos, 5 in La Azohía and Isla Plana, and the rest, between El Carmolí, Cartagena center, Los Belones and El Algar.
The municipal brigades began Monday by cordoning off the area, to undertake the removal of the trees on Tuesday, which continued on Wednesday in those areas that, due to strong winds, prevented the previous day from acting.
At the same time, public lighting operators worked on the replacement of damaged luminaires and all municipal machinery was put in place to carry out the cleaning and maintenance work in gardens, streets and promenades of Los Urrutias, Los Nietos, Playa Honda , Cabo de Palos and La Manga.
This work is still continuing so that the most affected areas return to normal, said María Casajús.
Regarding the damages produced in traffic lights, telecommunications operators began on Monday in La Manga the repair of the four traffic lights fallen in La Gran Vía and continued the next day reviewing everything to solve the damages caused by the wind.
Casajús has affirmed that La Manga and Cabo de Palos were the points of the municipality that took the worst part, since the strong winds caused more damage in urban furniture such as litter bins, billboards, canopies and vertical signage.
"We are working on its replacement so that everything is solved in the coming weeks," concluded Casajús.
