The Municipal Group MC Cartagena, with its spokesman José López, and the mayor Jesús Giménez and Arantxa Pérez, have attended the International Fair of Fitur in Madrid to know and assess the municipal and regional proposal for Cartagena and its Region.
The presence of MC is part of the program of activities of the municipal group 'Impulsa Cartagena', focused on the tourism sector in January.
The presence of Cartagena is reduced to the presentation yesterday of the empty proposal of how 'World Heritage' while today there was no sign of our municipality at FITUR 2020.
By way of balance, the municipal spokesman, José López, has indicated that "we have verified that they do not have any project to attract tourism to Cartagena and its Region."

López has revealed that "they have not yet understood that UNESCO recognizes what is taken care of. Recognition as a world heritage is a consequence of care, not of plundering, and of work, not of improvisation."
The lack of rigor causes that "they believe that this recognition is a credential that you take and it serves you to obtain funds, in those terms the mayor affirmed it".
An insubstantial offer
The cartagenerista leader has continued to criticize that "the rest of the offer is the most insubstantial and bland of all regions, with a stand without personality, a gray image and a shabby programming, like the image of the president himself announcing something he does not understand."
In short, he concluded by stating that "tourism will continue to yield revenues despite regional and local leaders, but one more year FITUR is a missed opportunity for the Cartagena Field and the Region."
