Due to the trajectory of the municipal strategy of “Cartagena Free of Rumors” and the consolidation of work with young people within it, it is considered that it is the moment in which to accredit and make visible young people linked to the program as “Agents Anti-Rumors” , enhancing its visibility and involvement as an active part of it.
This training will take place on January 24, 25 and 26 in the Municipal Hostel of Canteras.
The objective is to develop training, informative and awareness actions for these young people to obtain the “Agents Anti-Rumor” certificate.
It is planned to deliver this certificate around March 21, Day Against Racial Discrimination, in which they raise awareness of the actions of the anti-rumor strategy.
The training is aimed at 37 young people between the ages of 16 and 25 from the volunteer group of “Cartagena Free of Rumors”, intercultural centers for young people, the childhood and adolescence council of Cartagena, as well as social entities and councilors belonging to the motor group of the anti-rumor strategy.
The professionals responsible for training the new agents will be an educator and two monitors of the Immigration Unit.
Will be present at the welcome of the training, which will be at 6.30 pm this Friday, the delegate of Social Services, Mercedes Garcia.
