The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the president of Renfe, Isaías Táboas, have signed this morning the collaboration agreement that will grant discounts of up to 30% on train tickets to those who come to the city to attend congresses, Festivals or tourist routes.
In recent years, and with the integration of the management of the Office of Congresses in Puerto de Culturas, the City Council of Cartagena wants to demonstrate the potential offered by the city to host congresses and Fitur is the best showcase to make it known.
Thus, after the good reception of the Cartagena Congress Office workshop in which a fortnight of companies participated yesterday, today, Thursday, January 23, the mayor has affirmed that the signing of this agreement “will contribute to position our municipality as a reference for congress tourism â€.
In addition, as stated in the agreement, Renfe will issue several promotional videos of Cartagena in all its channels and disseminate the information provided by the Consistory to encourage its passengers to visit the municipality, through its blogs, networks and different media Communication.
For its part, the City Council undertakes to inform Renfe users of all the programming and activities it organizes.
