The heavy rains this week in Cartagena have caused again, as was the case during DANA last September, rockfalls in Gisbert Street.
On this occasion it has been in the area of the hillside next to the old Autopsy Pavilion, where there is a mesh that has not been able to contain the fall of stones, which has caused the passage of pedestrians through the sidewalk on the side of the affected street.
Technicians of the Department of Infrastructure are assessing the damage caused, so far, have not meant traffic cuts on the road.
The immediate measures to be taken are clearing the area, cleaning and removing the rocks and replacing the mesh.
